    How to properly store textiles
Products can be damaged even when not in use if not stored properly: moths, damp and poor folding can all reduce the life span of fabric. But proper storing isn’t difficult.

Before storing away any product, make sure it is clean and dry.

Fold products carefully and stack them loosely with the heaviest on the bottom to prevent creases setting in.

Avoid keeping products in direct contact with wood, as wood contains some acids that can damage textiles if kept in contact for a long period of time.

Consider using a natural moth repellent like cedar wood in the closet or storing compartment where products are kept.

Be aware of moisture, humidity, heat, mildew and fungus when storing textiles. A dry room with an average temperature is optimal.
