We are seeking a commercially minded Head of Wholesale to join us at our office in Copenhagen. This role will plan and execute the global sales and development of our wholesale business across all product categories in close collaboration with the Commercial & Marketing Director. Ultimately owning a strategy, ensuring all activities are brand enhancing and powerful enough to reach our performance objectives. Together, they will develop the wholesale strategy to drive international growth via proactive management of existing and new business across our selected international markets.
The Head of Wholesale will be required to make long-lasting client connections and should be passionate about driving external engagement across the brand as an ambassador. Additionally, this role is responsible for sales initiatives across our wholesale, concession and third-party platforms and they will need to possess an understanding of how to leverage partners as vehicles of marketing, customer acquisition and performance.
This role will manage, lead and mentor a customer-centric Wholesale team, ensuring that they deliver commercial and operational excellence at all times.
The role is an ambassador of Tekla values both within the company and should display a high level of professionalism and camaraderie with fellow Tekla employees, clients, and external partners.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
– Define and own the seasonal budgets according to the overall commercial strategy and objectives
– Plan and execute four annual sales windows to reach our sales targets
– Monthly reporting on performance and forecast adjustments - reflecting on the past, adjusting for the future
– Manage the sales budget across all wholesale partners, allocating funds to ensure the commercial success of product campaigns, while maximising brand visibility
– Confidently analyse and translate key market trends, competitor analysis and product development opportunities to drive the growth of our wholesale business
– Identify and prospect new sales opportunities, in line with the company’s strategic priorities
– Own and develop a global network of partners, maintained through recurrent visits in key markets
– Source trade marketing opportunities within our key partners distribution to keep growing brand awareness and positioning, and coordinate internal resources for an elevated execution
– Negotiate rates, fees, and campaigns based on business objectives
– Monitor sales and sell through across all wholesale partners, ensure all initiatives are in place for continued success
– Continuously develop our selective distribution to balance volume and brand awareness.
– Build strong relationships with key accounts across our network of concept stores, design stores, department stores and marketplaces
– Manage, mentor, and guide the Wholesale team on day-to-day basis to deliver best practice with Tekla partners queries, system processes and all other functions
– Any other ad hoc tasks, when required
We'd love to hear from you if you are / have:
– 5+ years of experience in a similar role within wholesale, in a consumer centric brand
– Strong commercial acumen, analytical and reporting experience, result-driven
– A collaborative mindset, with an ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate with, consult with and influence all levels of the organisation
– People management experience and demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and inspire others
– A solid ability to build and develop a network of partners and peers within the industry
– Analytical skills with ability to translate data, trends and insights into actionable and measurable strategies
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
– An appreciation and understanding for the Tekla brand and product
– Ability and willingness to travel >50% of working hours

We are looking for a Sustainability Student Assistant to join us at our office in Copenhagen. You will be working closely with our Head of Sustainability to help us achieve our ambitious environmental and social sustainability goals, outlined in our 2022 - 2023 Responsibility Report.
You will play a key role in our Climate Action and environmental work; taking the lead on the data collection required to calculate our annual company carbon footprint (CCF), and starting to calculate product environmental footprints (PEF) in collaboration with our external partners. You will also have the opportunity to support some of our decarbonisation initiatives, such as engaging our key suppliers to better understand where they are in their climate action journey, and exploring opportunities for collaboration and support.
Where we have certified products, you will be responsible for checking the latest requirements of those standards and ensuring we always comply. You will assist with implementing, and monitoring our progress towards our Material and Traceability goals.
You will also support in mapping upcoming EU regulations for the textile sector, researching relevant solutions providers, and helping us implement changes to become compliant. You may be required to assist with ad hoc tasks relating to our sustainability work.
This is a part-time student worker position, to start as soon as possible. The position is estimated at 15-20 hours per week with flexibility around holidays and exam periods.
We'd love to hear from you if you are / have:
– Proficient in excel and handling a lot of data
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Currently undertaking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field
– Strong understanding of carbon accounting and environmental impact standards and measurements methods, such as the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) protocol, and Product
– Environment Footprints (PEFs) and/or Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs)
– Experience in using these methodologies and tools
– Strong understanding of product certifications and compliance
– Knowledge of, and strong interest in, the environmental and social impact of textile production and the different impacts associated with different material and production choice
– Knowledge of, or interest in, other crucial sustainability topics such as circularity, DI&E, social best practice and due diligence in the supply chain, is desirable but not essential
– Fluent in English
– Comfortable within an open-plan and curated working environment
