Care

Tekla pieces are designed to last. However, a little goes a long way when it comes to properly caring for your down. By following these simple care instructions, your pieces will last longer and cause less impact on the planet.

• Air out duvets and pillows four times a year.
• Wash your duvets and pillows twice a year, or as needed.
• Shake well before washing.
• Wash at 60C on a gentle cycle.
• Use mild, environmentally friendly detergent without bleach.
• Do not use fabric softener as this will coat and ruin the down.
• Tumble dry on a low heat and line dry in warm, dry conditions to finish.
• Down must never be stored or used while still damp.
• Add tennis balls knotted in socks to the drum when washing or drying to evenly distribute down.
• Spot clean stains as soon as possible.

Quality

The down collection is made from the finest goose down that has been carefully sourced. Tightly woven cotton outers on all pieces in the collection ensure lasting durability. The lightweight filling with a high fill power balances comfort with warmth.

Design

Lightweight and soft, the down collection is designed to promote a better night of sleep. Duvets are finished with corner holes for duvet cover ties and cassette stitching to hold the down in place. All pieces in the collection are made in Denmark.
